     京广铁路、京珠高速公路纵贯县境南北，设有5个停车站、两个互通口。正在建设的衡炎和衡大高速公路横贯东西，三条省道上百条县、乡公路构成四通八达的交通网络。湘江、洣水、永乐江四季通航，千吨级航运可直达上海。

      通讯传输光纤化，交换网络数字化，国际国内电话城乡直拨。
电力充裕
     我县洣水上先后兴建了甘溪、洋塘、望日岩、荣桓四座水电站，装机容量3.68万千瓦，年发电量1.8亿千瓦时。湘江上建有大源渡航运枢纽电站，装机容量12万千瓦，年发电量5.6亿千瓦时。

    The Jing-Guang Railway line,Jing-zhu expressway run through the county with five stations and two mutually entrance.Hengyan and hengda expressway in building pass through from east and west.Three provincial highway and hundreds of county township roads extend in all directions.The Xiangjiang River,the Mi River and Yongle River are open to navigation all the year round.Thousand tons ship can reach Shanghai Port directly.
* Convenient Communication
    Communication transmission leads by light guide,.Exchange network realizes numerical control;program-controlled telephones can be dialed nonstop to international and domestic.
* Abundant electric Power
    The Mi River has been developed and utilized.Across the river,the four dams,Ganxi,Yangtang,Wang Ri Yan and Ronghuan,have been built one after another.The installed capacity of hydropower amounts to 3.68 ten thousand kilowatt.The total annual electric energy production amounts to 1.8 hundred million kilowatt hour.The Dayuandu key water control project on Xiangjiang River was built by nation investment.The installed capacity of hydropower amounts to 12 ten thousand kilowatt,the total annual electric energy production amounts to 5.6 hundred million kilowatt hour.
